When you see the "止まれ" sign(borad sign or roud sign), make sure to stop.
ALWAYS DO TEMPERARY STOP to confirm that it is safe to go on.
No matter if you have a clear view or if there are no pedestrians or vehicles,
YOU MUST DO TEMPORALY STOP.
The inverted triangle 止まれ sign for "Stop" is the same as the octagonal sign.

When you come across the tram tracks.
Always stop to make sure it is safe to go on.
Always stop whether a train is coming through or not.
Stop to make sure that no trams are about to pass and that it is safe to proceed.
Make sure there is enough space in front of you to pass without getting stuck on the tracks.
The following behaviours are Prohibited

Drunken driving is a criminal offence under the law.
Everyone in the car will also be held liable.
Even restaurants serving alcoholic beverages are implicated.

Do not use a mobile phone while driving.
Do not look at the navigation for a long time.
Please observe the traffic rules.

Call 110 for police.
Call 119 for Ambulance and Fire Engine.
When you are involved in a traffic accident, remain calm, observe your surroundings carefully and make your own judgement.
Call the police at 110 and tell them that you speak English, and they will transfer you to the person in charge and tell the condition of the accident and where it happened.
If there is an injured person, please call 119 for an ambulance.
Even if the accident is minor, please be sure to call the police at 110.
